Theatre/verv/ is a recognized voice amongst the Charleston theatre scene, and is ready to captivate new and returning audiences with its up and coming 2006/2007 season. This established theatre company has undergone a metamorphosis created by four local talents whose mission is to bring a new spirit and enthusiasm into the Charleston community through artistic composition and performance. By leaving its downtown venue and moving to West Ashley, /verv/ is taking Charleston theatre in a bold and fresh new direction. Theatre /verv/ is made up of veteran actors David Barr, and JC Conway, who have been brought together by the common desire to satirize, praise, and challenge the importance of theatre as an art form today, in the hopes of bringing more awareness of the arts to the community.
